Queer Album Club and The Oozes present Amyl and the Sniffers Truth or Consequence. At the beginning of the event, we will have an introduction from The Oozes and a pre-recorded introduction from Amyl and the Sniffers. We will also screen Amyl and the Sniffers Live at Ally Pally (25 mins) before Truth or Consequence.
After the screening, there will be a discussion moderated by The Oozes in the cinema.
Truth or Consequence is a concert film in which Amyl and The Sniffers perform country-influenced versions of their songs, two unreleased tracks, and a cover of the Slim Dusty classic 'Lights On The Hill'. It was recorded and filmed in front of an intimate and increasingly rowdy audience at El Coyote in Los Angeles, by the band's long-time collaborator, John Angus Stewart.
